STORY
HANDWOVEN BY THE WOUNAAN TRIBE
The Wounaan tribe are sadly one of the Indigenous groups in Colombia that are at risk of extinction due to displacement and violence.Their products are famous for depicting a unique vision of the universe. Using the Colombian Pacific werregue palm, the fibres are then dyed with natural juices of fruits and Aloe Vera, resulting in a totally sustainable, organic product.
