Caña Flecha Woven Pouf
Put your feet up with the utterly unique Caña Flecha Woven Pouf. Handmade by the Zenu tribe in Northern Colombia, it provides a stylish monochrome option made out of indigenous plant fibre. Use it as as a stool, ottoman, bedside table or simply showcase it as a striking statement peice.
Filling Your Pouf: Our poufs are sold without the filling but they are very easy to fill as they have a zipper all the way along the middle. You can use polyester mousse (pillow filling), and Ikea pillows are a great option. You can also go through your closet to find unused textiles like old jeans, old towels and old clothing you’re no longer wearing. Filling your pouf with old clothing will make it heavier, it’s a great option especially if you plan to sit on it. Polyester mousse will fill it up nicely but it won’t make it hard enough to sit on. Whatever you’ll be using, make sure to fill up your pouf to the max. The more you fill it, the better it’ll look!

HANDWOVEN BY THE WOMEN OF ZENÚ
The ancient Zenú tribe are spread across the vast northern lands of Córdoba and Sucre. The women weave in ‘caña flecha’, the leaf of a cane that grows around the wetlands of the indigenous reserves. Plants and mud from the land are then used as natural dyes, creating some of the most beautiful colours.
