As ever, The Colombia Collective is sharing beautiful Colombian crafts with countries all around the world, we hope to continue to bring these traditional crafting techniques to the global stage.
An incredible number of handwoven pieces have been made, and showcased in homes globally. An immense amount of time, dedication, hard work and love for the craft goes into every single piece of our collection.
We've doubled the associations we worked with in the previous year and as a result were able to bring lots of new and exciting collections to our customers.
Our ever growing artisan family is the core of our business. We work directly with the artisans to ensure our relationships remain strong and mutually beneficial.
As an all female company, we are passionate about championing women's rights and love that we are able to help female artisans manage their crafting business alongside domestic commitments.
We couldn't be prouder of the impact that your purchases are having on the lifestyles of artisans across Colombia, providing financial stability and independence. So a huge thank you to our lovely customers!
Most of our products are woven with iraca palm, but in the past year we've included new materials such as glass, wood, fique and seje palm.
It's magical to watch the artisans hone their crafting skills and create such beautiful pieces. From hand blowing glass to hand weaving to hand painting ceramics, our artisans use an array of different crafting techniques.
We've collaborated with the likes of Brora Fashion, Firmdale Hotels and Collagerie, helping to bring Colombian colour & design to some exclusive products.
We've had shoots in the UK & Colombia and summer and winter pop up shops, all to showcase our handmade artisan designs.
