Introducing: Niko Jacob
We couldn't be more delighted to launch our first ever Capsule Collection: 'Cruzando Colombia' with the incredibly talented Franco-Colombian artist, Niko Jacob.
A young and up and coming artist, Niko's work has been showcased at exhibitions throughout Colombia and Europe alongside winning numerous awards, his work focuses on showcasing Colombia's raw natural beauty and breath-taking scenery.
About Niko
Niko was born in France, of Franco-Colombian parents and initially studied economics, working in a bank for two years, before making the decision to come to discover his second country, Colombia.
Initially, he decided to come for a year to learn Spanish and get to know the land and culture, however he ended up staying much longer and has now been in this beautiful country for 14 years.
The journey to Colombia radically changed Niko's life as he began to fall in love with the country whilst traveling on the road. Eventually, he decided to study photography so that he could fulfil his dream of portraying a country full of colours, beautiful people and incredible nature.
Niko began to produce images for clients and in his free time continued to explore the hidden treasures of Colombia. These images became part of his personal work, which has now developed into a lifetime project.
He has since won various awards with the likes of the Choco project and Zona Cinco competition and showcased his pieces in cities across Colombia. He is currently displaying his work as part of the All French Alliances exhibit in major Colombian cities, along with 20 other photographers and was a recent finalist in the Salon Colombiano de Fotografía competition.
